PMA is currently located in a wing of the Leeds middle school in the Mt. Airy section of North West Philadelphia.

No, at this time PMA does not provide transportation to school.  Several SEPTA routes run within a few blocks of the school.

No, there are no barracks or bunk beds the cadets return home each day.  The school day is typical for the school district of Philadelphia running from 8:00am to 3:00pm

No, in order to be accepted into the school you must have no prior discipline issues and no “3”s on your middle school report cards.  PMA is not a boot camp, were are an academic, college prep school.

All of the class at PMA are academic in nature.  Students will take English, Math, Science and Social Students.  In addition students will take Spanish, Physical Education, and ROTC.  ROTC LET will teach students leadership, motivation, organization and self-discipline skills that will help cadets achieve success.

No, there is no commitment for any of our student to enter the armed forces upon graduation.  In fact at a similar program started in Chicago only three students from the graduating class (3% of the students) chose to enter the military after graduation.  We expect that over 98% of our students will enter college upon completion on the program.
